Bursitis is a very painful condition. It develops after a strain such as lifting something too heavy or over exercise. If you feel the area, you can feel divits like the outside of a golf ball. If you go to a medical facility for this, they prescribe a Cortissone shot. I use the correct deep pressure, and remove the divits and collapse the Bursa Saks, I love working on this as you will feel instant relief.
If these is one thing I am known for, it is my care of Sciatic patients. I had a client move to Chicago and they drove back to Minneapolis to see me when they had a flare up. Chiropractors and doctors will take many appointments for this. I do not. You will feel better when you see me. I really just find the start of the Sciatic nerve and add slow pressure. It is so fulfilling to me to help because this also is a painful condition.
With every treatment I do, I get better and better. This is a small tendon which goes from the heel to the arch and for people dealing with this, it feels like they are walking on a tight rope of glass. Because I have been a massage therapist for over 30 years, I have a lot of strength and I am able to gently put pressure on this tendon and relieve the pain. In some cases, I can instantly alleviate the ailment. My pleasure.
50% of clients that have Neuropathy, it is due to a medical condition. 50% the medical community has no reason why they have it. This photo of a man with bugs on his feet is a good description of Neuropathy. A numbness and tingling of the feet. I use Chinese Reflexology to give an all over re-alignment of the Chi in the feet. It always helps the clients and they feel so much better.
Many of my clients come hobbling in with this ailment and they did nothing different than sleep on it wrong. Some of my clients were in car accidents and just are tired of dealing with this. I have many interesting ways I work on this. I am always gentle and kind but it can really help. People can not believe how different they feel after I work on their neck and shoulders. I love to help people feel better after years of torment.
Tendonitis is typically a sports related injury. It is very painful and is most easily explained as a tightness. This is my specialty, loosening up the area. I have had clients cry afterwards being able to go without pain medication. It is very rewarding for me to help my clients.
Swedish Massage is a lighter touch. I use this tecchnique and add in more preessure to areas that need it.
As soon as I start a massage, I ask folks to let me know if too deep or too light. I have been doing massage for 30 years and I can get deep if you need it. Just let me know. The main issue is your comfort level.
